Understand films more deeply — live discussions with clips and guided analysis

  • "You see [a] film and you feel and think your way through… and you come up with conclusions. It’s beautiful to go into a new world, and that’s what cinema gives us a chance to do.”

    —David Lynch

  • "Talking about dreams is like talking about movies, since the cinema uses the language of dreams... every object and every light means something, as in a dream."

    — Federico Fellini

  • "We know that behind every image revealed there is another image more faithful to reality... up to the true image of that absolute, mysterious reality that no one will ever see."

    —Michaelangelo Antonioni

Each series is presented in the format of four group discussion sessions held over Zoom

The Movie Club is a live, discussion-driven film series for people who love talking about movies—how they work, why they matter, and how they shape the way we see the world.

Each series meets over four 90-minute sessions on alternating weeks. Participants watch the films independently, then gather online for guided conversation supported by clips, prompts, and close analysis.

The emphasis is on curiosity, shared insight, and the pleasure of engaging with films as lived experience, in a community of enthusiasts.

For film viewers who enjoy discussing and sharing insights about the experience of watching movies.
